Privacy Policy

• Your phone number, used for signing in.
• Your name.
• The names of family members you add, and optionally their date of birth, school and grade.
• Events you create — titles, dates, times, locations, notes and checklist items.

Parents enter details about their children; children do not have accounts and cannot sign in to FamilyCue. This information is visible only to the adults in that household, is never used for advertising, and is deleted when the account is deleted.

Only to run the app: showing your events, sending your reminders, and syncing between household members.

We do not sell data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles.

Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, with database access rules that restrict every row to the household that created it. Phone verification is handled by Twilio.

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. The content of reminders does not leave your phone.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. See the Delete Account page to request deletion.

Where applicable, you have rights under GDPR (including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection) and under the CCPA (including the right to know and delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them).

We keep your data while your account is active. When you request deletion, it is removed within 30 days.

If you add a profile photo for a family member, that photograph is stored privately. It is readable only through short-lived, signed links, restricted to the adults in your household, and never used for advertising. It is deleted when the member is removed or the account is deleted. Photographs of children are a more sensitive category and we treat them accordingly — they are never shared outside your household, and never used for any purpose beyond showing them back to you in the app.

Weather is optional and off until you turn it on. If you enable it, FamilyCue asks your device for your approximate location, rounds it to roughly one kilometre, and sends only those coordinates to Open-Meteo to retrieve local conditions. Your location is stored on your device and never on our servers. No address, no location history, and nothing identifying you is sent.

Household members share everything in that household: every event, every family member, every photo and every checklist. When someone asks to join using your household code, their name and phone number are shown to the adults who can approve requests, so they can confirm who is asking. Nobody joins without a household member approving them.

Deleting from inside the app takes effect immediately. If you are the only adult in your household, the household and all of its events, members, checklists and photographs are deleted with your account. If other adults remain, only your account and your place in the household are removed — the events stay with the family. Requests made through the website are processed within 30 days.
